Again directional flow was a big exercise that I practiced while working in this book.
In this page:
- Panel 1 : Boss moves to the right.
- Panel 2 : Foster looks to the right up but is balanced by his shot gun aiming slightly down.
- Panel 3: O’Hare looks down and to the left where he’s spotted something.
- Panel 4: Now Warren and O’Hare look at the camera in a canted shot but look the thing they look at (tracks) lead to the right.
- Panel 5: These tracks now go up but also slightly to the right.
- Panel 6: The hostage is turning left and down to look at the camera in a high angle shot.
- Panel 7: The guy in the forground (as well as most others) are looking left. Even though one person is running right the attention is on the door on the left.
- Panel 8: The door. No direction is desired here but if we were to point one out it is that it will swing back to the left.
