I really like the pacing of Darkmen. It’s quick to get to the core of the action. Sometimes thats a problem with horror stories. Too much set up. Granted you have to let the reader make up his own demons. That is most effective. The vibe in page 2 is different, we know what the characters are running away from and what type of thing to expect should they fail to do so.

This is the second horror story I’ve done. I think Awakened counts as number 3. I’m hoping to be posting my first “Noises in the House.” soon. That one was written by my SCAD professor Mark Kneece.
