Page 9 already! This was the 3 page I inked. I showed it at the Context show in the UAG. The original is now sold and somewhere in NYC. I really like this composition because I get to draw this massive city and there’s all types of little details like abandoned cars, busses, overpasses and fires.

The panel effect is one of those things you only get in comics. There is no way to read this. Just look at it and get sucked in. This page reminds me of something I was talking to with my Tae Kwon Do instructor’s master (Daniel Grant). He was telling me about what is like when to 4th don black belts get in a fight.

There’s a level of competency where everyone wins the moment you commit to the fight but at the same time you loose the moment you begin. You’re bound to get hurt trying and yet trying is all you can do.
