I’ve just received another drawing from Jorge at the Electric Intelligence and Communications Department did this one for me.
His note (which I translated) read:
“The task of documenting our investigations has become more gruesome than I expected. This is one of many dissections I have had to endure and depict. I truly despise our enemy but I cannot forget that it too is a living thinking being.
I apologize for the graphic nature of this sketch. I have requested a reassignment from our Majesty’s Department of Interplanetary Defense in Yorkshire to their observation station in my home country of Spain.”
I guess this is all we see of the Martians for now. But Jorge hinted at the existence of detailed communiques from the invading race. Perhaps I will be able to offer those in the future.
Nice! I’ve been reading a Carl Sagan book, “The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark,” which goes into the actual science, history, and human condition as it relates to UFO’s, alien abductions, and cover-ups. You might find some inspiration in that book for your current project, painting a picture of a government on the brink of war with the soviets, testing new weapons, keeping all experiments and information on a need to know basis, wary of leaking any information on the nation’s ability to defend itself or respond to an attack, all alongside a culture with a distrust of the government and a fascination for the unknown (a willingness to label secrecy as conspiracy / cover up)… not to mention a subset of manipulative hoaxers looking to profit or gain notoreity from the alien fad / alien fearing public!
