Stubble X-mass

StubbleXmas

Happy Holidays.

You know, this is not Jesus’ birthday.

Yeah I know. The Church changed the date a long time ago to coincide with a pagan winter festival or some thing. It is funny how everyone agrees to celebrating on this day.

Everyone?

Protestants, Christians, Atheists…

Brings us back to my original point. It’s not his birthday.

I don’t think it has to. We’ve come to need this type of thing as part of our society. Costume day in October, get together and eat Turkey in November, give presents in December, etcetera, etcetera.

I see your point. We need to do things as a ‘pack’ to strengthen a correlation regardless of what the event is. Too bad is not his birthday though.

Happy Holidays to you too.

New Developers in Town

Robyn brought up an entry from the All Over Albany blog. Ghost Hand Games is an independent game developer that specializes at the moment on I Phone Apps.

The art is nice, the game is simple that goes a long way for Iphone. If you have an Iphone give these guys a chance.

I wish these guys luck. Iphone app markets are tough.

Stubble Cruelty

Stubble06

Do you think someone can be cruel on purpose?

Sure, Particularly jerks.

No, but that’s just it! They are cruel because they have issues.

What do you mean?
Well aren’t jerks just acting out, uncaring or selfish because of a personal issue they don’t have full control over?

You mean like if you never been poor you don’t fully appreciate what you have?

Yea sort of.

So what’s your point? That there is not really “cruel” in people.

Yeah, I guess deep down there is always some underline issue.

See that bothers me. Just makes an excuse for individuals to be jerk.

No, quite the opposite. I don’t excuse the act I just understand that there are issues and repercussionsthat affect ones self and others.

Do you believe in good?

Let’s not go there.

Stubble Powers

Stubble05

This girl was telling me about how she tries to move objects with his mind.

Wow, does it work?

Apparently not but she’s still trying.

How do you even do that?

Supposedly you just concentrate on moving stuff.

But you said it doesn’t work.

Yep so far it hasn’t.

Stubble Inheritance, Zombies vs. Vampires

Stubble04

Dammit! I got into my new House and it’s a mess.

What the heck man!

Yeah what the heck man indeed! Now I am the one responsible for fixing it and if I don’t do it people will think its because I neglect things.

Chill out man you’ll fix things, don’t worry. Why don’t we talk about something else?

Well, how about pop culture quiz?

Okay hit me.

Vampires and Zombies.

Let see, Zombies are cool because we have a predisposition to relate to a future full of widespread decease, where we as individuals will be forced to take arms against our brothers.

Good, give me Vampires now.

They’re quite opposite.  Strong, beautiful, subject to a rather ambiguous moral code and unhealthily  addicted to something that relates to the individual weaknesses that define us all.

Wow that’s great but I could have also accepted “Vampire chicks are hot.”

That’s a.. very honest of you.

Unfortunately.

2 Very Different Games

The first game is a sad sad sad(did I say sad?) indie game which I read about at the Indie Games Weblog. (WARNING THE MOVIE IS A TOTAL SPOILER)

“Ulitsa Dimitrova tells the story of a seven-year old boy named Pjotre who lives in St. Petersburg, running around the streets and doing things that young children of his age are taught not to do.

There is no inventory to manage nor an objective to achieve, but the game does end if you let it idle for a couple of seconds. (Windows, 21.9MB)”

I really love the art style and the “in your face” reality of the issue of poverty.

Okay now you’ve probably watched the movie and lost the will to live. So why not go out fighting?

This is called Revenge of the Wounded Dragons and it pretty much builds up on the Remembering Bruce post from a while back. Yeah 70’s Kung Fu is not the freshest idea in the world but listen. There’s Co-op! Lets all get ready to scream like Bruce.
