You don’t get to see many other characters in the story aside from 4 key players. This page  and the previous one were fun to make because they comprise the few places where you get to see how the “average” people in this city react to our unlikely hero. I was going for a rather natural and diverse crowd. The type that is used to ridding the bus routinely but have never had to deal with a character such as Hops (who carries a ton of personal and unfortunately hygiene  issues).

Inside joke in this page is in panel 2 where we see shirtless mouse. You can only read “Buy St” but should that figure not obscure the frame it would read “Buy Stuff”. In hindsight I should make stuff like that less obscure and easy to spot or figure out.

In other news:

This last week I was traveling for business reasons but before I went out of town I secured some contract work which I will be working on for the next few weeks along with everything else. Very exiting stuff to have this client come back for more illustrations.
