Page 4 features the first appearance of our friend Satan. But who is Satan?
- Satan is not really Satan.
- Satan does not cast a shadow.
- Satan is based on Iggy Pop. Not because he is evil I just think he has an interesting face. BTW did you know he did voice work in the movie Persepolis. Yep look it up is in a book.
- Satan is a figment of Hops imagination.
- Hops therefore avoids talking to Satan because deep down he knows talking to imaginary things is crazy.
- Satan does display the keener detective instincts that Hops sometimes fails to show.
Oy, ye old comic press is giving a me a soma headache!!
I really liked that character Jorge, he’s constantly ridiculing Hops for being a bum, like a guilty conscience sidekick
